Biography

Hello! I'm Jack Evans, Republican Candidate for re-election to the Miami County Commission. I am a lifetime resident of Miami County and a graduate of The Ohio State University. I served for 21 years in the Army inactive reserve and was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain. I currently serve on the Miami Valley Military Affairs Counsel.

I was a Monroe Township Trustee for 17 years and served six years as it's president. Having operated a small business in Miami County for over 30 years, I bring that unique experience to help manage Miami County government. the last four years, I have served on the County Commission with Ann Baird, Ron Widener and Bud O'Brien. I am committed to maintaining the copperative management style of Miami County government which has made Miami County the benchmark for other counties in the State of Ohio.

I am committed to preserving the agricultual heritage of Miami County while facilitating the economic development necessary to enhance our job base. I ask for your vote on the March 4th Republican Primary.
